I guess the more appropriate question for Paul or Joe is, when will a harness for the '07 be available?

Dezod has a 07 ECU pin-out on his web page, I just used that and spliced my FIC into my ECU

If you want a PnP harness they should be availible this week or next. When I talked to them about one for my 07 he said he could get me one in about a week, and that was over a week ago that I spoke to him.

Well, you could order it now and get it in a week or so. You still got more stuff to get, right?
I still think the AEM F/IC is the best unit out there under a grand, and I think it will be really good for Sue to figure it out.

yea i still have some gauges and stuff i have to get

the f/ic..i think i'm going to delay it until they have the pnp thing.

that way i just plug it in...i dont like splicing in this weather, it gets too hot. its not hard. not at all. just really really hot. sweating and working with electronics is a nono.

imagine sitting IN your car with no electricity which means no AC on

and 100+20 degreessssss. cuz im gonna do it. save sue some work...

anyways...tuesday, im gonna head over to sue's and see what i can get fabricated this week

I recently installed the dezod s1 with unichip & bb instead of the greddy and found it VERY difficult to find a tuner for the unichip.

I should be getting the AEM F/IC tomorrow!!

Do any of you guys have some maps I could get at so I dont have to start from scratch?

BTW i'm running 550cc injectors and i believe an 8.5 psi spring.

I'm soo anxious this is the first kit I've ever done, took me all weekend and now I've drivin over 90 miles with no tune babbyn' my ride.

Please fellas, i'm dyin to solve my management issue!

Hey Meaty. I just installed my Dezod kit and have an appointment for Monday to get tuned. Could you please send me a few of your maps also? You have a PM with my email address. Thanks.

Wow, it seems like the AEM F/IC is really starting to pick up!
I can't wait till more tuners get more practice with these units and then are able to unlock the potential of our little 2.4s with just a piggyback!

Yeah, the F/IC is closer to the Greddy ultimate then the AEM EMS. If they can tune the greddy, they should be able to tune the F/IC with some practice.

I'm am currenlty getting a "too rich" code that comes on about a day or so after tune, but I just have not had a chance to go back to my tuner to fix it.
But not only was this my tuners first F/IC, it was also his first boosted tC! he's mainly a honda guy, so things run differently.

Gerebaldy has the F/IC in Colorado and he's not getting any codes, i beleive.

Just a fuel controller? Lame.

If it doesn't tune VVT-i at least as well as a standalone, then it's a waste of money.

You guys have no idea how much power can be made by tuning VVT-i.

Like what?
after 2 days, it throws a "system too rich" code like last time, and that's when I'm not in boost.
Before the code, during boost is good, but when I'm not in boost, he has it tuned too rich. I'm pretty sure it's because every value in his 02 map are set for 14.7 AFR, where it shoudl adjust according to boost.

I still can't get ahold of him, but tell him that I'm out of town from Sunday to Sunday, so if he want's me to leave my car with him next week, it's fine with me.

edit:
in fact, I can drop it off Friday or Saturday and pick it up the following monday cause I can get a ride to work.

GTRasta:
I don't believe there is a tune section for VVT-I (what piggy back has that?) but there is a seciton for VTEC. They are still adding features, so I'll post up on the AEM forum and see if they are planning to add direct controll for VVT-I.
That was a good idea. Thanks.

Oh, and of course it's not going to be as good as a standalone since it is only a $400 piggyback. The AEM EMS does that, but it's $2000
