New Engine Start Up and Break-In

Alright guys, yet again i need some answers and fast. I did a little searching on here but didnt find much. As some of you know i just got done building my new built motor and ill be droping it in my car tomorrow (Thursday) and possibly ready for start up as well. The only thing is i have no idea what to do as far as what i should do before actually starting the car. I know im suppose to prime the oil pump first before actually starting the car but how do i do that? The only way i can see how to do that is by cranking the engine with no spark or fuel till my oil pressure gauge starts showing pressure. Is this correct or is their another way?
Also after start up, what should be done to help break in the motor. I keep getting different answers from the web about this but id like to know what works for our scions. Anyone got some procedures on what i should do. The last thing i want to do is mess up the new motor from not breaking it in correctly.
Please help me out guys. If i get some feedback fast ill start up on thursday, if not then saturday at the latest cause i really want to get my car running already. Thanks.

you really cant prime the oil pump manually..like what was suggested pull efi fuse and crank a few times.
There are many diff ways to break in an engine, each for their own reasons or experiances.
I start the engine and let it run at idle for 20-30min, all the while checking for leaks or any problems. Shut engine off and check fluid levels. Fill as needed. Restart and let run till op temp. Still checking for leaks. Shut it down and check one more time fluid levels. Then go for a gentle drive if everything checks out. Drive gently for 50 or so miles. Then do an oil change. Drive as you normally would but no boost and keep rpms low (3k rpms or lower) for the next 500miles...do another oil change...continue that till 3k miles. oil change and your ready.

Well i just got PM from Don on the engine break in process. Just need to know for sure on the priming. Are ya sure its safe to crank the engine with no spark and fuel? It just doesnt sound right to crank the engine dry till there is oil pressure.
Disable it from starting and crank the engine over giving enough time in between for the starter to cool down. When the oil pressure light goes out, crank it again a few more times. Then enable it to start and go.

well looks like everyone has the same answer to this. Thank you guys. I feel confident now to get this started. Keep an eye out on my build thread. Ill update what happens at the end of the day. Cant wait to get this rolling.
All we did is let it run for 15 minutes, made sure everything was ok. Then went out and drove easy for maybe 30 min. After that showed the car some boost, then more boost, then a bit more. This worked fine, had to take engine apart for some unrelated issues and the bearings/rings/cylinder walls looked fine.

can anyone clarify which fuse number is the EFI fuse for the fuel pump? also, is it okay just to remove the fuse from the car with the battery still connected?
