Lastly, I have had some excellent questions from a few members about K1 rods lately and here some of them...

1) How much power can they hold?
Well, we have customers make up to 550whp on these with no issues. Tuning is what's going to make or break a rod. Nothing more, nothing less.

2) Are they shot peened like rod x?
Yes they are! They also have bronze wrist pin bushings and APR 2000 rod bolts that can be upgraded to a higher strength rod bolt per your request.

3) Why are they cheaper than rod x?
Well as we all know, foreign steel is much cheaper than domestic steel. The steel used to make these rods is a specific grade 4340, which is to K1's specs. Cheaper raw materials = cheaper production cost, which equals less of your hard earned dollars to get the job done.

4) Is it true you guys, single handedly commissioned K1 to make these rods for this community?
Yes we did! We also did the same for Wiseco pistons too.

You might want to fix the description of your Non-sleeved short block.

Seems a little confusing on what the customer is getting.

-Wiseco Forged Pistions 8.8:1cr
-K1 Technologies Connecting rods
-ACL Main, Rod and Thrust Bearings
-ARP Main studs

-Sleeved, Bored and Honed
-Line Bored and Honed
-Deck Surfaced
-Rotating Assembly Precision Balanced
-Jet Washed
-Rods Resized for Proper Pin Clearance
-Blueprinted
-Hand Washed Before Final Assembly
-Assembled in House to Dezod Specs

So what do you get?

In the Dezod Motorsports Performance short block we include the following:

K1 Technology Connecting Rods
Wiseco 9.0:1 forged pistons
ACL Rod, Main and Thrust bearings
Darton MID sleeves
ARP main studs
