That is what I am doing now. I'm pretty sure it's the wastegate since u have all but reinstalled my entire kit with no change...

I wonder what kind of material is that brake booster assembly, im now thinking of welding fitting there lol

 

wait what usually wrong with that fitting?

 

I found that it leaks boost.. im not sure if anyone has tested that for leak, if you look at its just a rubber so the fitting that connects to the brake booster line will seal.. but there is no clamp to it, just a grommet that creates a semi tight seal.. its like just connecting a tight hose to a vacuum port without any clamp or zip tie on it

 

well is it possible to put a zip tie on it

YEA I SAW THAT...BUT I dont see how it can be a leak it looks to me like the booster line goes through the grommet...guess ill have to see it in person

 

exactly the booster line goes through there but the seal is weak.. but we'll see if others will find a leak there

1 minor leak = me not giving a rats...(rear end) btw boost controllers have a pin sized hole on em which is a boost leak...so that says dont worry bout tiny leaks son!

 

^^ its not tiny.. its a hiss and whistle (lack of better term), you dont need to spray soap coz you will hear it, just couldnt find where hopefully not a cranked IM

 

lol the boostcontroller are hiss too no soap needed but best of luck

try looking for it aorund injectors the insulator

 

^^ depends on boost controller, truboost solenoid did not leak anything even with soap and water.. depends if its a normally open or closed solenoid. bc it leaks when it needs to control boost.. And the leak is loud and whistles, thats is something you dont want to ignore.. imagine when you try leaking air on your tires valve stem

 

not all boost controllers are a bleeder style...there are even some that bleed and the vented air is routed back to the intake (gfb makes just such a boost controller).
