Official Dezod Turbo thread:12/21 - Long-term and new parts!
Manifold will be finished tomorrow. Some other affairs came into place delaying it. Most of it is done. We need to weld the flange for the turbo and wastegate, and finish some positioning. Pics up tomorrow night.
Update: Plug and play system will definately be available for the tC with or without our kit. Refer to this thread for more info and pricing/buying information:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=971696#971696.
It will not be included with our turbo kit, but it will be an option. We want to keep the base price of this kit low enough for those who need/want to save as much as possible. The package price with a purchase of the turbo kit will be an option, but the harness may not be available as soon as the kit, due to the pre-order we're making.
If there are extra harnesses in stock, then they will ship out with the kit, to all those who paid for the upgrade.

Ok sorry for the confusion. Regardless, the BASE kit, meaning bare-bones, will still come with an Emanage and upgraded fuel injectors.
The harness is simply an option/upgrade to allow for easier installation of the included emanage. You will have the emanage and upgraded injectors no matter what. We won't sell our kit without those two. The harness is to make life easier for everyone and allow members to go back to stock or eventually a full stand-alone because you aren't actually cutting anything.

The combo of choice is the Emanage, support tool (for laptop), and Greddy Profec B SpecII.
Even though I've owned a Blitz EBC on my last car, and loved it, we will not be selling Blitz EBCs with the turbo kit at all. They are made with a switch in the back, to be set for either internal wastegate or external wastegate. Our kit is externally gated, and the Blitz setting is meant for Japanese wastegates. For some reason, the Tial doesn't work well with the Blitz EBC (SBC Spec-S), because it's American. Tial is a great product, and Greddy works remarkably well with them.
For manual boost controllers it won't matter as much. Hope that helps!
It could actually fit, but you may have to modify the braket to sit the IC slightly farther back. Also, modifying/extending the foglight harness may be necessary. Could work though, I guess it's worth posting if successful! I'll look into that in the meantime.
***Update 8-12-2005!!
Before the actual update... We need more opinions from you guys again. Do you want the Stage 1 kits to have the wastegate routed back into the down pipe (more money), or vent/dump downward (cheaper, louder)? It's up to you guys, we'll end up doing one or the other. Stage 2 kits will all dump, not go back into the exhaust, as it performs better.
We did it! The turbo manifold is complete and we finally got it the way we wanted. The final charge pipes and full exhaust systems will be done the last week of this month. After that, we're good to go!
Here's some pics of what it will look like, roughly...

Dumping is louder (much louder) at wide open throttle and full boost. It performs slightly better.
Routing it into the exhaust is much quieter, and does't perform as well, but it won't perform poorly.

If dumping is cheaper, louder (better) and performs better, thers' no question! I need to compete with the SRT-4 across the street! That sucker sounds BAAAAADDD!
As long as it's street legal.
