Why the big difference between the 2 runs?

 

He prolly used 175 shot of NOS. LOL, J/K. Seems like he went from Supercharger to Turbo. Haha

 

motor swap.....first run was with no tune at all....49th run was after hours of tuning. finally got it where we wanted it.

 

Yeah still running great! I'm going back there next week to tune with......well you know........ Should be over 300.... we will see.

 

so you had the same turbo on during that first run? Or was the first run all motor?

 

Yes everything was the same from the first run to the second. I literally drove it from the shop to the dyno with no tune to tune it. The map that was on the emanage was all screwed up so i new the numbers would be low. we just needed to know where to start. We cut that run really short due to the fact that it was not safe on the AFR.

 

I just dynoed my car today,, did 220whp and 210tq. zpi stage 0 with full 2.5' exhaust, walbro fuel pump, 550 injectors and emanage ultimate, the dyno/tuner guy said that there was a lot of heat soak because of no IC,,, of course,, but im hoping to get the Turbotoyotas ZPI ic/piping kit once they come out with it. Hopefully ill post the dyno sheet tonight.

I am trying to research the Final drive swap out of a Camry transmission... The only problem is that it is a gear made onto the output shaft of the transmission, so you would need to get that whole shaft (assuming it will fit into ours, that is what I am trying to find out is the deminsions) and you will also need to do the change the ring gear on the differential. This will essentially give us "longer" gears, but the only difference between the Camry trans and our modified tC trans would be the 5th gear, which shouldn't need to be swapped since it is on the outside of the case. Our fifth gear would be more usable.

I would like to experiment with this when I have enough money to do a quaife LSD as well, along with a new clutch and flywheel. So when I order the TT kit I have been looking at and the quaife, look for a post from me stating if it will work or not.

The problem with that is, you will make the car slower.

 

Got 265whp 260tq on 8psi with my new ic and piping kit from turbotoyotas, will try to scan dyno sheet when i go to kinkos to make copies of dyno :D
