Default Oil Plate

has anyone used an oil sandwich plate for there turbo return line. It seems like its a good idea but I know that the return lime is gravity fed so I'm not sure how it would work. This is the first kit I have built and I am a little worried about the details. I Used one on my Esi turned Tsi talon but I bought the kit assembled from a friend and it seemed to work fine. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the greddy sandwitch adapter on for my oil pressure gauge...it started leaking at the seals after one week. and thats just for the gauge, not the actuall return line.

Just do it right and have a bung welded on your oil pan.
