Sometimes,I feel like Peter Griffen having to wear a helmet and water-wings, and still drowning in his soup!

 

I cant seem to be able to thread the T fitting in the engine, I got the 1/8 npt fitting, the sensor that came with the gauge is 1/8, but they only go in about 2 threads. The original low oil pressure sensor threads look a bit different.

 

re-tap the hole w/ a 1/8 npt tap....but coat it with a good amount of grease first. It'll work.

 

yeah the oem oil sensor thread is kinda different i think its kinda rounded, i was lucky to be able to find a 1/8 npt fitting that will work

 

wut type of threads is the original low oil pressure sensor? bbsp, bsp, etc.? where did u buy it? I"d like to get da right fitting b4 attempting to tap. It's dat wut everybody does or do they actually get da rite fitting?
