Default Options besides the Bosch 110 for the BPV?

Ok, so everyone recommends the Bosch 110 as the bypass valveto replace the one that comes with the SC kit.

What other aftermarket options are there. Someone recommended an HKS one I believe? Do those attach in a different way? Thanks...

I have a forge 007 diverter valve. The nice thing about these is they have a spring kit that allows you to adjust the opening and closing of the valve. And its not plastic. I believe you can also adapt some hks ones and I believe turboxs has one that will bolt right in so to speak.

06scionsc, the forge007 requires no modifications to work?

The only mods would be deciding which springs and how many spacers. Depending on your setup will depend on what to use.

Would you recommend the Forge 007 over the TurboXS?

Well I would just be worried about the MAP not recalculating the new circulation mixture.

That is the prob. But our biggest prob is the fact we don't produce much boost down low so you end losing boost to the atmoshpere until you get an adequate boost level to seal the blow off. I talked to a guy at a place called go fast bits in australia about this. They make really cool things called hybrid valves, which vent off 50% atmos. and 50% back in to the intake (they are not the only ones who make these but they seem highly regarded in subie and audi forums) so i asked if maybe this would work for our cars with supers. Here is what he said.............
Hi Brian,

Supercharger applications have different requirements to turbos, and
hence venting to the atmosphere is not a simple task. The blower needs a
constant bypass path all the time except when you are trying to make
boost, so if you did this with a Hybrid, it would be venting air at idle
through to medium throttle, until you floor it. If you really want a
whooshing noise, the best solution would be to use a pair of valves, one
a Plumback to provide the bypass path (using a softer spring), and the
other an atmosphere-venting valve like the Mach 1 (using a harder
spring) to only vent higher pressure during gear shifts.

If your car runs an airflow meter, this is really the only way you could
vent to atmosphere. If you are using a MAP based system, then you could
get away with just using the Hybrid, but as I said above, it would be
venting at all times except under load. If you're not interested in the
noise, then our Plumback valve on its own will do the job. It is
available with 25mm fittings to make it a direct replacement for the
Bosch unit. If you want to look further into this, let me know and I can
advise you further.
