Oh nice, I need to land some more sponsors too. Most of all the Time Attack events are out of my area, so I'll be traveling some this year too.

I'm good still. I did have a mishap (user error) trying to get ready for one of the last days at the track last year. I just got the manifold and turbo back today. Had PTuning hook it up with an EGT Bung, and my turbo had to get serviced due to my user error (long story). I got everything in last night and putting it back in and should be driving around this weekend.

 

what was the user error? you should PM it to me i want to avoid making the same mistake.

 

I got happy with oil to make a long story short.

Word. To anxious to race, running short on prep time. Should have just did a full change since it was time anyway. But I was ready to run. I still put the pressure on a Cayman S with $20k (chipped, brakes..etc) in it that day though so...good times still...lol.

Damn, if there was one video I wish I had recorded it would have been the chase down and pass of the Cayman S. I kick myself for that one. Oh well...there will be many more opportunities I reckon.

 

once i get my new kit i am going to channlenge you to something i just havent figured out what yet.

Without. I can shed another 50-100lbs by replacing the roof, removing headliner, and getting a carbon hatch.
