Default possible wastegate issues??

Okay so the car was running just fine before all this started happening. one night driving normal i decided just to give it some gas to make sure all is still well with the setup. Well much to my surprise it was not. I gave it some gas and it felt as if i was trying to go fast while holding the brakes down. Boost was building but did not register on the gauge. I decided to let off and there was a blow off but not like the HKS SSQ should sound. I checked all the vaccume lines and they are all tight and connected. Drove it around some more and sounded like the waste gate was not opening like it should. I have a tial 44mm with a 3 pound spring installed. I am pretty new to boost but have a basic understanding of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

intercooler piping is fine it still is reading vaccume when i go to floor it the gauge just stays at zero and wont go into boost.

My setup is a custom setup what do you need to know about the setup

The sound is the turbo is spooling but the car will not go anywhere. Blow off just sounds a woosh of air instead of high pitch like it normally has and waste gate is an open dump and i can hear it over the exhaust and i cant anymore.

Like before it is as if i floor the car and its like driving with teh brakes to the floor also.

WOW, same thing happened to me, I spoke with Toan at ptuning and he helped me out alot. Thats odd and i mean same exact thing. It was my waste gate, there it was stuck open a bit and I heard the turbo spooling up but no boost at all. Heres a picture. as you can see the gap there

Isn't there supposed to be a ring at the bottom of the wastegate that seals that gap?
