I get high 160's and low 170's when I do mine which is monthly.

90 is way too low. You have some blow rings on you hands. Time for a new motor or a rebuild.

yea i know... i compared mine(06 sw 46000 miles auto) to my roommates tc(05 rs1 w/ 47000 miles auto) and his were all 150ish

you could take the plugs out and put a bit of oil down where the plugs go. May raise your compression a bit.

Yea 90 sounds like more than just rings - maybe cracked ring landing or even a cracked piston. I know i have heavily worn rings in one of my cylinders due to a one time lean condition - funny how it only seemed to affect one cylinder - but this cylinder still shows a compression around 135-140. Maybe if the rings are ccompletely gone youd be aroudn 90 - dont know for sure as i havent been able to work with alot of tc's yet - but usually when youre 50% below spec than youre looking at piston damage rather than just rings - but thats just from my experience.

Hell yeah it has, got a motor reading from 23 to over 100.

well my motor is spurting oil out of the dipstick, breather, and pcv... and white smoke as well... so im SOL...
