Default problem with initial turbo start up

hi everyone, i just installed my greddy kit. its got 550cc injectors, fic and gunna use ngk brk7eix-11 plugs. i had a set of denso ik24's but i believe i fouled those.

i got a base map from church tuning but my car wont idle properly or stay on by itself. when it does kinda idle the rpms are all over the place and vac is usually between 10 in' and 0, the car almost sounds like its misfiring altho i dont have a cel. when i connect my laptop to the fic and use the gauge function the highlighted cell dips down into a portion of the map that is zero'd out.

if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

You need to calibrate the F/IC. You can ask paulDezod or joeDezod how to do that..

it's the zeros too, what base map is THAT?

there shouldn't be any zeros.

can you send me the map? i'll send you a real basemap and also send you a batch of maps that you can try out

try unpliugging the f/ic completely and seeing if it starts up. if it does, it's the tune/calibration if it doesnt' then it's a vac leak

theres 5 maps on the FIC,

I ran church's map on my 550cc set up too, idled fine, and there arent any 0 out spots on the fuel map near idle. Ign timing should be 0 at idle (on the map) the car is acutaly running like a 15 degree advance from the factory though. at high boost you should hit negatives but only under boost.

gap your plugs to 32 (i think)

yup with piggybacks a value of 0 means you are running the stock tune like the box is not altering any, if only we have a software where we can see the stock map or 3 graph then it would be easier for us to understand it better...
