Forgot to mention, when I chased down the Cayman S and got the pass on him, I had my boy Lorne riding shot gun with me. He's about 6'5 and 200+lbs.
I didn't have to break out any tools this weekend for fixes, but I did have to break out a rag. Had an issue with oiling, so it might show on Brian's video of me chasing the Cayman S. Didn't bother the speed of the car though but I got some cleaning up to do.

Yeah 225/45/17. That's about to change though. My street wheels are going to be 18x9.75 that I will probably double up as some track wheels until I can afford my track wheels, which will probably be 17x10's.
Car definitely still has a LOT more left in it. I don't have suspension bushings, no cage for extra stiffness and safety, stock wheels like you said, running EBC yellow stuff brake pads and a stock motor. I still have another 40-100lbs to shed off the car when I replace the roof and hatch.
And the cool thing is, I can put it all down to the ground. I don't spin tires all over the place like people do with decently powered FWD cars or people tend to think of when they think of FWD and power. I heard a good quote or read it somewhere that said....."If you want to maintain traction, then stay above peak torque". And it makes total sense, cause if you are below that in our cars, you are going to spin them in the lower gears (1-3rd).

Congrats on your victory man happy for u since we have the same kit. But i spin pretty hard at 27psi 1-4 and I'm above peak torque most of the time when I hit 8100 Rev limit and a soft cut as well but 15 psi I'm pretty good in 3rd it all depends if I leave 2nd gear smacking the Rev limiter.
My solution to that type of boost would be to do a Boost-by-gear. Problem solved.

I have a Haltech platinum sport 1000 with boost by gear as of now the 1st-10, 2nd 15, 3rd 23, and 4th and 5th full boost. Hopefully with the slicks it will stick.

If it's still spinning all over, then either dial back the boost per gear, or dial back your throttle input until your road speed is up.

I am if I don't stick at the track but I'm sure I can with the slicks. i hope to see high very low 11s even high 10s, but I think the car might have to lose some weight.

No cage then you can't participate in the fun parts (i.e. wheel-to-wheel race). Other than that, there is no requirement to have a cage in the lower classing (street class and I forget the classing name for NASA Time Trials). In modified and unlimited, you are required to have a cage.
Vids are being loaded to Youtube currently. I put together 4. Brian has more footage to go through and he can load his up.

A close quarters Dog Fight to the finish.
Although our HPDE videos look similar, we are not trying to reach the finish line before the other guy in a set number of laps or time. The competitive feel is still there, it's just minus the actual trophy. The trophy is getting the point-by in an HPDE event, as the Point-by is like making the other guy say "Uncle" and admitting that you are faster than him.
Think about it, if you were in a Porsche and a Scion started sweating you, would you just easily let him pass when you feel your car is superior? But nothing you can do when he actually IS faster than you...
