I was going to go dig it up, but figured it wasn't worth the time anymore. They see the light now...lol. But they did make a whole thread about it didn't they?

Marketing ploy is all it was. Nothing more, nothing less. A distraction to turn people away from the competition.

Here's a few details pics. some of the pics came out a bit blurry. But as you can see the manifold is 100% 304SS, even the very expensive CNC machined SS Head flange. You can't beat the quality and penetration of the welds. All welds are back-purged tig welded with double-pass welds.

The PTE v-band manifold should be ready in about 2 weeks if you're interested.

this manifold hands down wins over dezods heart shaped mani......

reasons being...

-low mount turbo leave room for those who like the tucked and clean engine bay that not cluttered

- ptuning scribed in the head flange

- uber clean welds

- option of vband OR t3 footprint...dezod only offers vband

If you want to get into details, here's more detail on our manifold design:

We use a CNC machined 3D 304SS 1/2" stainless steel head flange (cost to produce $150-$180). our competitor uses a watejet-cut (claimed CNC) 1018 2D mild steel head flange (cost to produce $35-$50). Right there you can see the difference in just the head flange alone. And best of all our manifolds are race proven, dyno-proven, and daily driver-proven.

Shall we go on....

If you have one of the HP55,57,60,62,65,67 series turbo etc. yes, you can buy the v-band housing for it. If you have the SC series turbo, there's no v-band housing for it that we're aware of.

Oh yeah, the 2.5" vs 3.0" exhaust debate. Somebody kept telling our customers that all you'll need is a 2.5" exhaust for a turbocharged tC.

Our tuner's defense for 3" is better than 2.5" turbo exhaust: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=129368

Our competitors defense for 2.5" exhaust is all you need up to 500hp. Which we've proven time and time again that a 3" is superior on a turbocharged car even at 200hp: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=153043

And since where on this subject of manifold design. Here's a another interest post claiming that an EL manifold is just a "hype" and a log manifold is all you need: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...pe#post2994812

We lead, they follow, funny how things end up in the end.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for your support and I would also like to apologize to all the members of the forced induction forum for letting this thread and the other threads get out of hand--that was not our original intention with this thread. We were merely posting a new product. But since the threads got a bit nasty, we felt we needed to speak up so the community has all the information, whether true or false that have been posted on this forum in the past few years.

We feel that all of the members on this forum are old enough to read these post and take it for what it's worth. And finally, friendly competition is a part of business and it can only make products for this community that much better. So again, sorry for all the drama that have occurred in the past two days and now we would like to get back to business. We should have the production v-band manifold done in about two weeks and we'll post some final pictures.
