ptuning....turbo kit, etc.... DYNO SHEET pg.39
ok I am the person (god, jesus) that tuned stephen's car. toan sounds like you have a dyno dynamics dyno and are very familiar with it. yes the dd dyno reads way lower than any other dyno on the market and it does have an extra correction factor allowed to be entered. we do have a correction factor in there to give the best accurate reading possible. we have dyno'd a handfull of bone stock cars in multiple drivetrain configurations and did the math of a known good car with known crank hp and tq. and subtract for drivetrain loss and make our correction read within + or - 2 hp of what should be put to the ground. after we found our "correction" we then compared our dyno numbers to a 2 dyno jets and 2 mustang dyno's. our readings are right in line with a mustang dyno which is what most of our community here compares anyone's numbers too. my boss talked with the dyno dynamics reps and this is what they came up with and it has worked just fine for almost 4 years now and over 12,000 logged runs on the dyno. I am very confident in the power produced by his car are not "inflated" numbers that these people are believing them to be. however there is misleading information that stephen has not been mentioning. we were trying to really push his setup so we were targeting 18psi, but unfortunately it would only spike 18 for a brief moment then taper all the way back to 8psi by redline. we push this size turbo on other cars to 22 psi on meth and it holds together great on 2.0l engines. so yes I know the turbo can do it. I know it sounds unreal that this car can produce such high tq but really 365 tq from a 2.4l engine at 18 psi on meth is actually a little lower than I would of thought it would of got. srt4 neons are 2.4l and have a similar turbo size as well and they will push 21psi on meth and hit over 400tq to the ground on stock turbo. I am not here to argue what you guys think it should of done but tell you all the information I can and if you still cant accept it then that is for you to not accept. as stated before the dyno is meant for one thing and one thing only tuning the numbers mean nothing to me and I could care less if it read 165 ft lbs of tq. the proof was in the test drive when rolling on it in 3rd gear on a nice dry day stephen lit up his tires like it was raining out. I have ridden in and driven alot of cars and I can tell you the tq this car puts down is serious. stay tuned and when stephen does more to his car like put the upgraded wastegate on it so we can hold 18 psi to redline and we make a ton more power that you guys can't believe is happening we will then take it to the track and give you a trap speed to chew on for awhile, until you think we were running the texas mile or something not quarter mile, but what ever hopefully I didnt misspell to much stuff and I am sorry it reads in one paragraph but it is late and I have been working all day and I am only going on here to try and clear some things up.

Thank you Bobby for taking the time to post up on this thread. I am definitely a satisfied customer with my tune.
aha 18psi spike ey.. thats a very legit reason.. lol the way the graph looks its weird, like an unhealthy tune though peak numbers sounds good.. we were misinformed, 8psi is what we were told. its good now it got cleared up, i knew something was up aside from the info presented.. only went bad when the owner got too defensive and start calling everyone ignorant
My apologies for not providing full details, again I didn't know there was a difference between it tapering at 8psi as opposed to spiking at 18psi. I mentioned earlier I never railed on my car so I never actually saw it spike at 18psi, but I do recall after the tune now, that Bobby told me it would spike between 15-18psi. I'm sure the whole thread would of been a lot different had I said that it spiked at 18psi, but either way, my numbers are legit, and weren't inflated. Aside from that, the result of this is that these numbers are definitely reachable with this Greddy Turbo kit, and everyone who still doubts it can believe what they want.

YES, THATS SICK!!!!
And FAST...
Stephen's TC is the Best I've seen in our area! You've done an awesome job with it and Its my favorite Tc in the NW!!! Can't wait to see what you do next. I'm for one impressed with how well the Tc's do with a turbo kit. I almost bought one a few years back.. looked into the baby blue color with all the upgrades from the dealer... But I stuck with Subaru.
LOL
Who knows, maybe one day I'll have one... i do need a daily driver. Or I mean another project car!! LOL

i will get there.. lol
