my brother has been using a kaminari hoof with a turbonetics kit for about 2 years. it should be fine but it might not be a bad idea to make so sort of guard for the hood when its raining.

kit looks amazing, and puts out great numbers. It has a decent price to go along with it, what else is there to ask for. Now i just need the cash lol

It's for 05-06 AND 07-09. The only difference in the kit is the MAF flange. They talked about the 05-06 vs 07-09 for power, because the newer model tC's will make more power because they run slightly higher compression (9.6:1 vs 9.8:1). It's just not avail for Autos yet.

This kit uses a standard journal bearing turbo. We will not be offering a ball bearing upgrade for this kit. When we release our RS kit it will feature a true Garrett GT30R ball bearing turbo (same one found on our current TA tC) along with a larger intercooler, larger injectors, PnP Greddy EMU. All the main components of the turbo RS kit will be shared with the SS kit, even the 4" intake tube (yes, we're thinking ahead). The RS kit will cater more to the built engine crowd and of course it will have to be more expensive.

This SS kit as configured offers excellent spoolup characteristics as seen by the torque curve on the dyno. It should have no problems supporting about 400+WHP. When we eventually get a chance, we'll swap this entire SS kit over to our TA tC and tests its limits.

We will do extensive testing on a few different tCs before finalizing our pre-tuned F/IC map. Our goal is to have a PnP map that you can bolt on and enjoy without having to tow your car to the tuner.

It's going to feel so slow compared to what it has now .

i would recommend a product from a company that does a lot of R&D, as you continue to support them they will continue to bring more quality products to the market

Can you take some finished photos when the car is put all back together? I'd love to see fully assembled with the clamps and everything on.

thats what im thinking when i seen the almost 5k price

while yes its a sweet kit, i was hoping it to be more competitively priced

i think that if it was about $400 cheaper or if they kept the offer for reduced price on the 3" exhaust for everyone who purchases the kit they would have a winner

Got to pay to play. And the components in this kit warrant the price tag. To be honest, I thought it was priced lower than it's worth. This is a "Mature" kit, but priced at entry level prices.

The BOV may come close the Kaminari reverse style hood opening, but we believe it should clear. As far as Seibon and VIS style hoods, etc. go, their will be no clearance issues.

Our turbo manifold design is also very carbon fiber hood friendly. No more yellowing or delaminated hoods caused by hot turbine housings, wastegates or turbo manifold piping.

You will not need to deal with trying to add gold foil or other heat barrier sheets to the underside of your hood either. Those running factory hoods will not need to worry about burning the factory hood liner with our turbo manifold set-up.

Just updated the first post with pictures of the kit with everything connected and running (t-bolts, oil lines, etc).
