Our out-of-the-box base tune is more than "start your car and drive it straight to a tuner" map. It's a pre-tuned map. However, as we continued to test our pre-tuned map on multiple tC running the PTUNING Spec-SS turbo kit, we will continue to revise it until it's perfect.

Our other goal is to establish an online section that allow customers who have purchased our turbo kits to download maps with different setup and parameters to meet their specific needs. This will be introduced on our Scion Only website that will be launched by late next week (06/25/09) @ www.ptuningscion.com

Also, to help support our numerous Scion products, we will introduced some of our sales/support staff to the SL community. This way, you will have even more ways of contacting us.

PTUNING doing great things! you guys seems to come up with alot of good ideas. soon scion people wont have any problem they cant solve cause of ptuning. wish you guys were in miami!

You mean on re-boosting!!! I had a Turbonetics kit and decided to upgrade :D I made one awesome choice

So, from what I understand, someone who buys one of these kits will NEVER need to pay a tuner? And as they do upgrades, they will just download new maps for the f/ic?

 

Dono about NEVER being tuned, but over time people will have a larger source of maps to choose from.
