Oops, thanks for pointing that out. The SS kit will include our tried and true 625cc injectors. These injectors have an excellent spray pattern, which results in a very smooth idle - as compared with some other injectors we've come across.

These are the same injectors used on our TA tC when we were on a still on a stock motor. It had no problems supporting our original 335WHP tune at 13-14 psi.

Yes, this kit will include a pre-tuned F/IC map.

Our plan to include a pre-tuned map for every turbo kit configuration that we decide to offer down the road.

Does the kit come ball bearing or is that an option that would cost more? With the map included already, is it perfectly fine to run the kit on that map without taking it to be tuned?

I was SOO set on purchasing Dezod's kit on sale but you guys have really found a way to send my plans to a screeching halt...

thats what im thinking when i seen the almost 5k price

while yes its a sweet kit, i was hoping it to be more competitively priced

i think that if it was about $400 cheaper or if they kept the offer for reduced price on the 3" exhaust for everyone who purchases the kit they would have a winner

Why are people complaining about the price? $4,800 is not a lot for a turbo kit + fuel management. Comparative to the Dezod S1, it's $500 more for a modular EL manifold and an extra 30-70WHP. $4,800 is very competitively priced.

Comparing to a Dezod S1 equipped with the same turbo and components.

Name: Dezod Motorsports Signature Turbo System-Scion tC 05-09
Your Price: $4,660.00

It sure is a very reasonable price.. aside from a well designed and track tested turbo kit w/ lot of R&D done, im sure the price was made more on the materials used..

here's how i see it
1. Tubular manifold= easily few hundred dollars more there compared to log style
2. All pipes already coated
3. Comes with 4" intake tube, 3" downpipe = bigger pipes more expensive
4. Uses vband flanges and coupler= nice but more costly
5. come with all the bungs you need, even for meth injection
6. tested 625cc injectores, with base map on engine management
7. comes with radiator fans
8. new tial bov and wastegate design

i would recommend a product from a company that does a lot of R&D, as you continue to support them they will continue to bring more quality products to the market

well i guess the site isn't properly reflecting the current sale because the S1 kit right now is only $3580 shipped... that's quite a bit of price difference between the too

im not knocking the p-tuning kit though... it is pretty awesome

That's not a comparative kit. Like Ace stated, you're getting a MUCH better manifold, coated pipes, larger pipes, pre-welded bungs, radiator fans, etc. You're getting MUCH more and you're getting a kit that has MUCH more potential. Dezod claims 240-270WHP on 8PSI. PTuning claims 275-315WHP.

Plus it looks so much better than Dezod's bland silver everything kit.

OWNAGE i was gonna post the same thing...these kits arent on the same level...its like comparing chuck norris to steven segal...ptuning being norris...a more comparible kit would be the descendant kit

a more comparable would be the dezod signature kit to get it closer.. just adding the coatings will get you to 4700-5000 easily.. and still with the smaller old style tial wastegate and hks bov, 550 cc injectors, log mani and stuff.. its just an unfair comparison as the two kits are different in lots of ways

For sure a sexy kit. I like how low the turbo sits and where the intake pipe is located. Make me wanna redo my piping.

would this kit not work with a kaminari hood? im sure water pouring on the turbo would not be good. anyone want to clarify that for me.
