Thanks Brian, Travis, and Ken for your positive feedbacks and support. We're glad there are customers like you in the Scion community that appreciates a quality product and quality service. These are just a few of the things we're working on. There's more to come but we'll save that for later.

Correct, actually we're working on two fuel system, both will be using our fuel rail and fpr for a return-style system. We're seeing to many tc encountering fueling issues at the top end.

The spec-RS competition fuel system will include a swirl pot/surge tank for those looking to autox, road race, time attack, or drag race their car. This system will eliminate the fuel starvation issues during hard cornering or acceleration.

The spec-SS compeition fuel system will not include a surge tank, but will include everything you will need to upgrade the factory fuel system to a return style fuel system for forced induction, including turbocharging as well as supercharging. We're starting to see more an more F/I tc running into fueling issue and throwing in larger injectors and pump doesn't completely solve the problem.

You will have no chance of winning a road race event without addressing the factory fuel starvation issues during hard corning, unless you can run your tank 3/4 to full for every lap all day long.

Awesome MrC. If time permits, I'll get the RS fuel system sometime during the season. Otherwise I will have to run a full tank of gas.

haha! no but for real, feedback from a few friends who did some tracks days... it seems as though on street tires 1/2 is when fuel starvation becomes apparent. But yea, it would be nice to not have to worry about it!

We're trying to figure this out ourselves. We've tried to contact a few people already and are awaiting a response. Hopefully a moderator can chime in and give us some insight into what is going on. You can also send me a PM or email mike@ptuning.com.
We now know what happened, and where it happened, but there is no way we can undo what was done by us or the folks who made the error.

Mike, I gave the contact information to Mr. C, and he said he would pass it on. I also did the reverse and gave Internet Brands your contact information, and Adrian at IB promised to have Amelia call you at start of business.

As to making changes to prices/dates/important information in any of your posts now under the "Guest" ID, you will have to get a Moderator, SuperMod, Admin, or Internet Brands to do the edits for you.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do in getting you in contact with the folks who created the problem.

Tom

P.S. Adrian from IB has posted an apology here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...072522#4072522

Kool....much appreciated. Do you think the same applies if I'm running 255wide tires?

it's hard to say, although I don't see there being more than about a .15G difference in turns between 225's and 255's street tires.... I would just have to say test the limit in a practice session or track day. I always ran a lot of fuel thinking I would get fuel starvation, then in NJ last year I decided to test the limits and take note... turned out I can run it to empty and still not get fuel starvation even on my R comps. Guess the gas tank on the xA is baffled differently? not sure. But like I said, just test it out and put a mark on you gauge when it happens

We will probably not offer hi-temp coating for our manifolds. First off, why coat a perfectly nice full stainless steel manifold, second based on our experience on the track, a coated turbo manifold is good for about 20 hot laps on the track before the coating flakes off--which is worse than having it not coated at all. But that's not to say that you can't have the manifold coated on your own.

MrC
Thanks for the info, and yeah I know it is stainless steal, I just like the looks of a coated manifold, looks real clean. Well the more I look at your manifold, the more and more I want it and the more I want to keep it stainless anyway, it looks amazing! You guys are the best, and you are always taking the consumer into consideration when building/designing. I will be pm'ing you shortly!

We'll get more pics of the other components once we have
1/2" Thick flange looks very nice, but with the difference in thickness between the runners and flanges have you experienced any cracking or warping due to the lack of relief cuts?

Are the runners done in a single pass, or is there a root and final pass done? With the observation of several cold spots I am assuming it is done in a single.

Sorry to hop on here late...and I didn't want to read through 15 pages of "Watching" posts so I'll just get on the end here.

Kit looks AWESOME! superb job, and I can't wait to see some of these on the road and at the track!

One question, though...I noticed your fuel system consists of the aem f/ic...I though you were originaly testing with the greddy unit and that you liked the greddy much better? Did you switch to AEM only because Greddy went under, or did you switch because the bugs have since been worked out of the AEM F/iC?

The SS kit uses the F/IC. The RS kit ("Race" version) specs uses the Emanage Ultimate. F/IC does not have the features necessary to change the car into "race" ready mode (i.e. increasing RPM's, 2step launch control..etc).

FYI....TRUST (AkA...GReddy in Japan) is alive and kicking. GReddy (US name), is also alive and kicking. The company did not go under.

I'm sure MrC can give a more in depth view as to why they have set the options up as such, I'm just giving my take on it. However, thus is true though about the F/IC being on the SS kit, and Ultimate being on the RS kit.

Found the Old Thread Mr. Meaty:

For racing purposes, the ultimate will allow you to raise the rev limiter, eliminate the factory speed cut, control our ptuning boost solenoid, and switch between multiple maps (e.g. low boost map, high boost map, etc.). There's also an optional steering wheel mounted button for switching between the maps.
