LOL turbo + credit card = bad.

Pretty much B_real45 summed it up.

I put my turbo on my credit card...then paid it off the following month...really does wonders for your credit...

...oh, and you need to pay for tuning, but you should not have to pay for labor...do it yourself so you can fix it when it starts falling apart...

But mr.meaty do you have a solid income? I presume you do so you could pay it of quite easily. If you could do that then yes go ahead with a credit card, as you said it would do wonders for your credit. However if you are a broke ___ college student buying a turbo and puting it and the tune on the card is just suicide. No steady income and eventually it will weigh you down.

Exactly..

Paying for something large with a credit card and then paying it off quickly is a different thing. Most of these people who are using credit cards for large purchases are doing so because they cannot afford to pay for it. They want to stretch the payments as far as possible.

I did the same with my kit.. $4k on the card, and a week later $4k payment to the card.

I pretty much use my cc as a debit card. Make a purchase and pay it of full. Best way to stay out of cc debt.

^all valid points, exactly why i asked about a payment plan, im smart enough to know that CC debt is no fun!

and as i said before, id rather only pay for the product itself, and not give any free money to my bank!

Chico - the best thing to do is buy a used kit.

Most of these kits will get you to around the same power level. The rest is mostly aesthetics.

The bank doesn't get any money when you can get 0% interest cards.

i have milage when i use my CC so like stated above.

i get paid on the first and 15th of the month.

i use my credit card for the whole two week period then pay it off in full on pay day..

so i jsut leave the money alone in my account and use it to pay off my CC bill every two weeks and RAKE IN THE MILAGE!

i fly all over for free all the time with the method. my mom does the same and showed me how to do it and i love it! no joke. best idea ever..

The Ptuning SS turbo kit will be shipped with the turbo manifold, turbocharger (pre-clocked), v-band adaptor flange, wastegate, dump tube, oil feed adaptor, oil return adaptor, adaptor gaskets, wastegate vacuum line and fully assembled and torqued with Nord-lock washers for the t3 flange to turbine inlet flange connection. The complete assembly will be done on our assembly fixture to ensure a proper fitting and hassle-free installation--We basically pre-assembled the most critical and complex part of the turbo kit for you and/or your installer.

Here's the most current pictures of the components that will be included in the PTUNING SS Turbo Kit. We will be starting a new thread on the turbo kit very shortly since we no longer have access to the original post on this thread.

If you order the pan the same time you order the kit, it's $125.00. Basically, we make ZERO margin on this item--It's just an convenience option we offer our customers to make the installation as simple as possible. If you order the kit without the oil pan, we will include a machined -10AN male weld bung that you will need to have welded onto your existing oil pan. The down time, hassle, and labor involved in drilling the pan and properly tig welding the bung will make the pre-welded pan a no-brainer option.
