Question Question on AEM wideband O2 sensor???

What up SL. So my question is... If I was to move my AEM wideband o2 sensor closer to my turbo, would it through off my tune or would my tune be ok?? Im running AEM FIC and I have a Ptuning Kit. Thanks for your guys time.

all its doing is reading your A/F ratio....pretty sure it has nothing to do with the tune...its better off,on the downpipe....

^+1 Doesn't do anything to effect your tune. It's a reading tool, to know what your tune is doing.

It needs to be 18-36" downstream from the heat source to maintain life on sensor.

one more quick question would the O2 bung on the ptuning downpipe be to close to put the wideband O2 sensor?

There are two bungs on the S-pipe. The first bung on the down pipe is for the primary 02. A second one would be for the secondary 02. You would ideally get a 3rd bung welded on for your Wideband.

PT does not include a 3rd bung for free like we do?

My mistake, it does include a 3rd bung. A full PTuning Exhaust though from front to back has a total of 4 Bungs on it. Primary, Secondary, WB and one for the Dyno WB.

To Clear up confusion on my part (got products confused). The S-Pipe is an N/A S-Pipe. And as most N/A S-pipes are, they only include 2 bungs on it.

What has 3 bungs on it is the PTuning downpipe that is for the PTuning turbo setups.

So, if you indeed have the S-pipe, which is the one that will have a two bolt flange to connect to an N/A setup or Non-PTuning turbo setups, then you will indeed need to have an 02 bung welded in for the Wideband.

Sorry for any confusion.

haha no worries man. My exhaust is all 3", V band clamping from Ptuning... I'll check later to confirm how many 02 bungs i have. Would the first 02 bung on the downpipe (from the hot side of the turbo back) be to close for my aem 02 wideband sensor? just to throw it out there lol i made 342hp at 10psi at Churchs Automotive testing in Long Beach, CA.
