Quick Garret question.
just looking at the map it looks like 400hp on that turbo will work...you would need roughly 40lb/min of air flow and i calculated you would need about 20psi to reach 400hp (thats taking into acount for pressure loss for ic and pipes). so pressure ratio would be somewhere in the neighberhood of 2.39. if you follow the map it looks like it would work but its not in the maps "sweet spot", its just outside to about 74% efficiancy. so in short its a good choice and will work for sure if my calculations are correct.
Most engines now-a-days that have dual cams and variable valve timing have efficiencies of 100 and higher. It's not uncommon to see 110 VE on our type of motors.. get a ported head and better cams and VE goes up.
oh i forgot thats putting the redline at 7000rpms....close enough imho
