Thanx dude. I'm dyin 2 race a Cobalt SS Supercharged! I know it might sound cocky, but an RSX Type is no match for me w/o some mods. There was 1 there Saturday, but it got beat by the RX-8 that I destroyed last month. I wish I had a video of the S2000 beating the GTO. It was beautiful.
Cobalt SS was easy! I raced one here when exiting the post going home from the gym. I could hear the fool kept on downshifting, waiting on me. him and his buddy was laughing lookin at me. And so, i was like "eh, ill give it a try." I put it on 3rd and stepped on it. they pulled about half a car ahead of me. but when my turbo started spoolin, it was over!...I stretched him about 5 cars or so at 4th, and lost him at 5th. A lesson learned for them

I think it was a supercharged, it took me a while to catch up on 3rd. they had exhaust, from what i can tell.

You got to do that ebrake boosting when rolling, you boost faster doing it.

Not sure yet. I've seen a few people post about it. I know rhythmnsmoke does it. It's been posted on here before but PMing rhythmnsmoke will be your best bet cuz the search sucks. He or someone else that knows might see this by tomorrow and post how to.

brake boosting implies you are creating a load on the turbo which causes it to build boost. You can use your foot brake and heel/toe drive or use your ebrake for ease of use and stealth (no brake lights) you only need a little braking force to do it so don't yank up on the ebrake

Not "E" brake, but your regular brakes. Something about using the E-brake to do it, kinda scares me, so I just used my left foot on the brakes, while the right works the gas.

Kick it up to 40mph for example. You would apply the gas and the brake at the same time. Giving it gas will allow you to spool the turbo, but you need to apply the brake, so you don't go OVER the said race mph. So, at 40mph, you would apply the gas, and push down the brake enough to hold the car from going past 40mph. Use the Boost Gauge to determine how much gas to give it as well. I usually will apply enough gas to take it out of vaccum, and have it hover on the 0 PSI mark. You can make it over around 5 or 6 PSI if you like, but I like to start it at 0 PSI. It's up to you to find the perfect PSI spot that you like to take off from.
