Sorry if I missed a posting about it...

I am planning on having a S/C installed by my dealership on my 08 tC. Minus the cost of it, which I plan to buy from trdsparks and the 800-1000 install price, what are some disadvantages of the S/C?

not enough power,

 

there have been reliability issues in the past with the TRD superchargers on the tC. Hopefully you would have better luck.

 

never enough to please you once you become addicted to boost and will never give you that kick in the groin like turbo will. also, the supercharger breaking and leaking and not being covered by the dealer at times.

 

that pretty much sums it up..

 

i second that.....only if you want the quick acceleration than the lag in the beginning
