Default S/C sound?

Yes, I did a search and wasn't able to find anything...

Is the TRD supercharger loud at all? As in, do you guys get the typical loud whine noise?
I'm really hoping you can hear this thing from inside the car. Thanks for the info.

It isnt very loud at all....
Only holding the thing at like 3000 rpm gives you a turbo whine...

Sry to dissapoint, it just isnt as loud as a lightning,,,

wtf dude....I can't be curious as to how the supercharger sounds? A nice sounding supercharger is rice? I don't understand the logic behind that.

This is coming from someone who puts what kind of oil cap they have in their profile. I could say the same thing....Who cares?!?!

But I don't. You see, everyone is different here. Maybe you like that nice shiny oil cap. Im not here to judge you man. Im here to learn from you, share experiences with you and to try to help/learn from others.

Lets be a little more civil to our fellow tC (and xA and xB) owners and make this a nice happy community.

Lets save the harshness for the Honda communities, ok?

^^^FYI I dont even have that car anymore ...the reason why every mod was listed is because for show lists because thats basically what that car was...a mild show car, and if you have any idea about shows, then you should know that every mod should be listed all the way down to the "shiny oil cap"...thanks for taking out the time in your day to go through my profile to fulfill your interest in trying to throw me under the bus...sorry you failed miserably pal .
Pnzrfst: The way you asked the question made it seem like if the supercharger didnt blow your eardrums out you werent gonna buy it...who gives a **** what it sounds like...it serves only one person, and that has nothing to do with sound

The sc sounds killer spun faster at idle - 2000rpm with the nst pulley and an intake. You can really hear it whine. Sounds sick. I have had many people do a double take when I drive by slow and then ask if it was turbo or supercharger because of the sound. I get that allot at gas stations because I drive in slow and everyone is just standing around. It is not loud but it is noticable.

SimplyScion - Nope, I was just curious. It not being loud would never stop me from buying it, but I wanted to know if it sounded good or not thats all. I love the sound a blower makes and was curious if I S/C'd my car I would be able to hear it, thats all.

the intake definitely made mine a lot louder during idle and around 3000 RPM's before the motor noise takes over

Yep, there is a noticeable whine there. It's not as loud as some others but it's there if you have an intake and an aftermarket pulley like the nst one.

centrifugal blowers ususally aren't terribly loud but are noticable. Roots/twin screw blowers are much louder. Search for a kenne bell mustang video to see what i'm talking about.
