well iv been s/c since 42,000miles and have 71,000miles on the car now. and as of this morning the engine has started making a rattle noise. not a nock or a tap but a rattle. its only happens between 1200-1400rpms and it located dead center of the engine and just below the header. i already ruled th s/cer out becouse thats what i thought it was. my s/cer has been rebuilt by me with gompka shaft and bearings and the compressure side has ceramic bearings as well. i removed the s/cer today and all is fine except the leaking seal. i checked the oil level and thats fine to. well i set it up with the dealer to take a look at it and will post back on what the find and say. does anyone have any ideas on what this rattle could be? im stumped.
