Default Scion Dealerships Don't Sell Superchargers Anymore For TC?

Hey guys. I am coming up 2 years as a member here. I have been gone for a long time. Was getting interested in buying a supercharger for my AUTO tC. I saw on the Scion site though, they don't have the supercharger as an upgrade option under Performance Accessories. Is there a reason for this? Was there something wrong with the superchargers? Can someone give me a quick summary of what happened? Thanks.

--> Over 2 years with the original tC and still 0 problems!

if you are talking about where you build it, that is because you cannot finance it with your car, you have to buy it separate. so they do not have it on there for that reason

well first its true that 95% of the dealers make you pay for the s/c strait out. Also - they are comming out with the 07 s/c so i dont know if there is hold on the existing model but trdsparks.com has them. The 07 has mount changes (better ones) and i think another few small changes. If you have a dealer that isnt trying to screw you over with mods that you know 100% sure didnt cause someting to fail ...you cant beat a 60k warranty on a s/c

They still sell it. There was a thread about it, and I sent an email to my TRD parts guy from where I got my car, and he said it was still available.

(i have been considering selling my supercharger )

Is there a reason why? Mechanical issues?

For you and the guy above, are you still able to get it installed at a Toyota/Scion dealership and maintain the 5 year warranty? Thanks.

TMCC doesn't care/know about financing the SC; it's the government that wasn't allowing it to be financed.

you didnt hear this from me but there is a rumor that the price for a 05 s/c will be dropping!!! it will drop considerly...... not bc theres anything wrong with them but bc there changing a few things on the new one and they will not fit on the 08's so if your looking into getting one then i would hold out like maybe a month and see what happens
