I was thinking you would have to be at stock height to use a side exhuast. I would destroy the side exhaust over a speed bump with my drop

 

either cut a half circle out of the side skirt like the stock one in the back so that you can have it sit a little higher. or cut a whole perfect circle and have the exhaust tip surrounded by the side skirt and make it sit flush, i think that would look nice. then you just gotta worry about your door turning all black and isht.

 

I'm about to start fabing up my 3" side exhaust. My current 3" has a v-band about 14" before the back tires so I'll be makeinigjust a back piece. The trick is to use oval pipe. It looks pretty sick but kinda pricey.

 

I'm not feeling the side exhaust. We spent too much time riding around like that in the 70's and 80's. It was loud, it was smelly, and most likely a bit dangerous having it exit right below the doors.

I'm disappointed in SL for going for the SRT-4 comparison instead of the Viper comparison first. For shame.

And I think center mounted exhausts look better on our car (and have fewer bends). I'm cutting the center section out of my Kaminari kit and making a custom dual-tip exhaust for it, a la...
