I am looking into slim radiator fans so that I can clock my turbo down. I am planning on getting Mishimoto fans and a radiator down the road and have heard that a single 14" fan will work fine with their radiator.
My question is will a single 14" Mishimoto slim fan pull enough air to keep the stock radiator cool until I get around to purchasing an upgraded radiator?

get 2 12" fans, I dont think you will have enough room with two 14" fans.. go for two 12" fans if you have stock radiator. Im planning to run two more smaller fans prolly 10" if they fit with my new rad. Also check for clearance on your setup, it may or may not work if your stock fans wont work
12 inch at hte very most
10 inch is what we have stock thogh, the trick is not to put it AGAINST the radiator but have like a half inch of space or less you have to play around with the distance but never against the radiator

thats exactly why actually, if you put it a certain distance away from the radiator (what that distance is, is up to you) it creates a suction type of deal and cools the whole radiator rather than the immediate section, also bigger fans aren't always better,
if you think about it standing in front of a really big fan there would be a huge "blindspot" in the middle where the fan's fulcrum is
