he shouldn't have a problem with oil fouling the MAF sensor because he just has a breather element on the valve cover. There is no connection to the intake pipe upstream of the sensor...

So heat is the only enemy of the MAF sensor.

I do have another polished valve cover in stock if any one would like one. The A/F ratio is set at 10.9 under full boost not 11.9 This car came out great I wish we would have had time to get a dyno number but next time he is in town we can dyno it at no charge. deathbyc4 your kit is almost done I am just waiting on the coater he is a little behind this week....

Sweet, Just shoot me a message when it's out the door. Also, keep me posted on the 2.5" exhaust and a price difference between the coated and stainless piping.

mike what is planned for the stage 2 kit?
I live in merrillville IN and I plan on puting a turbo on my tc after my house is finished in about 6 months. I am looking for a kit to make 300+ whp on 12 psi or less, with a fuel map also for 6-7psi for daily driving. I curently have a custom fit AEM v2 Short ram intake, 2.5 s-pipe back exhaust and I plan on a light weight crank pulley and flywheel with a stage one or two clutch. I am thinking about buying a peggyback management system and wide band to tune my car for optimum perfomance with the few mod I have now and then use it later to have you guys tune in my turbo kit. I am an ase, and mercedes master tech, so I am verry comfortable with installing a kit but I would like you guys to tune it. I used to work in carrol stream so I know where your shop is, and I know you guys are the best when it comes to toyota tuning. I was just wondering if you could give us more details on the stage 2 kit, and I was also wondering what you would suggest for engine management, safc-neo, s-afcII, unichip, or emanage ultimate.
thanks for your great kits and knowledge.

Well that would not be a problem but you will need to run our basic kit with the AEM ecu and you are good to go...

You're welcome. Unlike some people who are way too impatient by this point, I know it takes time for perfection and I do appreciate you taking the time to fix that small problem and letting me know about it. Thumper, I'm going about the same route as you are and I agree with Parts_Pimp, get the AEM EMS when it comes out and forget about the hardships of anything that's piggyback. I'm going to run the SAFC-II for now and when I save up and wait for most of the "Newly released product bugs" to be fixed, I'll have one.

Price is still up in the air, And it should have the plugs in the case of the ems so you just plug it in and tune.

The AEM set up is around $2,000 right now. The harness is custom made by Toyo Moto. The AEM plug and play will not be out for a while..
