Default Sound Performance Turbo tC IS NO JOKE!

Earlier today I went to SP to check out charles car and Mike from SP offered me a ride in it (Hope you dont mind Charles, hehe). So I gladly took up the offer and and Mike drove around for a few mins showing off the kit. First thing I noticed was the car started right up, no problems at all. The car was cold too since it had been sitting outside. We were in some traffic at first and other than the BOV you wouldnt even know it had a turbo in it. It runs great, a VERY streetable kit. Runs like stock only a hell of alot faster. So finally there was a few sections that were open enough to let it rip and damn does it pull. A 3rd gear pull will suck you nice and deep into the seat.

Its very impressive considering a stock second cat is still in there and no CEL (just "MAINT REQ'D" which has nothing to do with the turbo). And for the price, the turbo is polished, I think the pipes come coated (I forgot to ask), you keep the 2nd cat which will pass IL emissions, Polished IC piping, FMIC with no cutting, SAFC, Fuel management (again, im not 100% but I think it comes with the kit) and other stuff I am forgetting (im sorry, i know thats not very helpful).

Mike should release the price tonight, I dont want to splurge on that, but trust me, it will compete with competition (Not meant to start a fight, I have ZPI stickers on my car and love Dezods kit as well) and be very affordable for what you get.

I know it sounds like I work for them but trust me I do not I just want to share with you all. Hopefully they will have vids soon. I dont think they got any today cause its been wet and snowing on/off all day.

Well I think thats about it!!

Charles, your car is going to be a show stopper this year! Im not going to the same shows as you!!!

(Im the one that never ended up buying your TSW's (sorry bout that the wife said no way!!))

I don't know about anyone else.. but i've noticed on the SP turbo posts how they talk about taking charles's car out and racin it.. burnin tires.. and now giving out rides.. I know the car needs to be drivin to be tuned.. but that can be done on the dyno.. If that was my car .. i'd actually be kind of upset.. i wouldn't want the shop to give out random joyrides..

I will say i would of been the first person to ask for a ride in it too haha.. but i wouldn't want it the other way around.. maybe thats just me.. i don't really like other people driving my car. Anyone else that way?

Charles, you are a more giving man than I

kit looks awesome though! can't wait for you to put down 300whp

Hahaha...i remember you Harmonic. Its koo about the TSW i got someone else to buy.

I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. I was actually also up there today and took my brother in law to see the ride in action for once and he fell in love with it. He doesn't have a tC but now wished he got one.

You cant go wrong with this kit. If you see pics of my kit its has a lot of extras that the kit SP is offering will not have unless you request it but then you will spend more money. Still like Harmonic said its well worth the buy!!!!

haha, cool, i was hoping you were not upset for falling out on you.

But the car is nice, and mike didnt burnout in your car, he was very conservative in your car. Only got into boost about 4-5 quick times and the whole trip was less than 3 miles. I guess this is more to the poster above you.

But either way, im leaning very much into this kit. Plus local support is very helpful!!

Yeah i was there about noon to 12:30. Sux i missed ya but oh well. I still cant get over how well it "rode", cant wait to see how well it "drives" lol.

I dont like other people driving me car either. If anything im one of the most **** people about that. But SP has done good things for me and if its to help sell their kit then fine. Just as long as no one gets carried away with driving it. I mean when it comes down to it, it is still my car but no worries.

Besides when warmer weather hits and i start going too shows, i will be more than willing to give anyone who asks a ride as long as the dont stink!!!!

Well JT to answer your question. Charles and his TC are sponsored by Sound Performance and he know that his car has to be driven. You can not simulate all driving on the dyno. Going and being stuck in traffic and high way stuff needs to be on the road. I had asked Charles about offering rides in his car and he said that was fine to help us sell the kit to local guys but I do under stand what you are saying. I just wanted to answer your question..
