Okay all we have got the car back from the fabrication shop, and will be taking more pics tonight. The car just needs to be wired up with the management and tuned and we will be running! We will keep you updated.

I have to admit... I am surprised at the level of - dare I say it - hostility I hear from tuner shops about the rear-mount turbo concept (as if they actually have any experience with doing things that way). I stopped by a shop just today to look at rims, and happened across a garrett turbo in their display rack. one thing led to another, and the rear-mount topic came up - the guy was adamant that the rear mount would cause nothing but problems - ranging from lag to oil starvation & cracking of the housing from water exposure (old disproven arguments all) - regardless of whatever benefits it gave, and then right after that started singing the praises of turbonetics, and the traditional way of doing things.

I am coming to beleive that many shops unjustly criticize the rear-mount concept because they have some kind of interest - be it purely emotional, 'tradition' or obligation to a supplier - in doing so. there is alot of the 'we've always done it this way, so it has to be the best way' mentality. that kind of thinking leads to stagnation IMHO, which is why I am so looking forward to seeing numbers, pics and regular reports on the stripper setup.

trust me I want to post the pics too lol.. Just waiting for approval of the boss and I will. I will talk to him in a little bit and hopefully have some pics for you all. The kit looks awesome and cant wait to get her running to see what she can do!
