Weirdest thing Ben. Yesterday I left my labtop datalogging the hydra while I was driving on the freeway and after a few minutes the car was running a lot better. I was looking at the fuel map and it didn't seem to have changed, the same for the spark map. But it definitely ran better.... weird, i'll have to read up on it later tonight.

But i think when the labtop is connected it automatically starts autotuning the fuel if you have the WB02 installed, doesn't mess w/ the spark im pretty sure tho.

I could really feel the power, apexi dbc was @ 0.6bar, which is about 8.4psi.

I can only imagine how your must run at 10.5psi with a tuned fuel and spark map !!!

SEXY FEELINGGGG ******DROOL******

Maybe I should move to michigan, so DAN can give my Hydra EMS some TLC

I'm right at .8 bar on the avcr. I need to figure out how to get the hydra software to work on vista before I can start logging.

I'm a microsoft engineer. I've tried to get it to work for hours. Compatibility settings, messing w/ the registry, google'd it to for back up =)

The only other option I had in mind was to do, a dual partion, Windows XP Pro and Vista "or get a mac like the other guy said lol".

Vista is too cpu/memory intensive for my taste, not to mention its probably got a crap load of bugs typical microsoft product, lol.

I hope someone smarter than me figures out how to get the hydra to work with vista, for future reference.

Or bother Andrew at hydra to have them upgrade their software vista compatible, and make the hardware USB 2.0 compatible instead of the DB serial connection >.< there still using!!!

*sorry venting*

Oh yea its not my laptop im using, its my brothers, I would never buy vista

That is correct Sir. =)

Dan still has a couple of kits left, i thinkkk.....

But you got to admit, its pretty good.

Jackie's original setup was 340hp @10psi
Ben is doin 350hp @10.5psi
and i'm not tuned yet, im going to try my hand at 11 or 12psi.

We're all on stock internals, unless Ben is hiding some forged piston and rods he hasn't told me about!!! j/k haha pretty sure he's stock too.

MCSE and wont' buy Vista...that's gotta say something, right? I aggree 100%

I keep forgetting how impressive those numbers at those psi really is...I mean, I hit 320whp at 8psi with my TT kit, so those numbers seem average to me, but I forget that compared to the zpi, greddy, dezod, etc. kits out...yeah, those numbers ARE impressive!

.8 bar = 11.603019 pounds per square inch

i would be hoping he'd be hitting more than 300 whp with 11 lbs of boost

Yes the now defunct TF.

None the less it's still a kit that is/was a production piece.

Also keep in mind I have worked in the automotive aftermarket on some level for the last 15 years and in Import performance for 12 years now.

So that should give you a idea......this is not Dan btw.

I'm sitting right next to a MacPro running Windows Vista (32 bit). We've got the 64 bit version on the way, but from what I've seen so far...yeah, no way in hell that OS's touching my PC. Incredibly slow.

Still, Macs suck too, so...lesser of two evils I suppose. :D

LMAO!!!! yea your right. MCSE and won't buy vista, sad but true. Tons of people that have it though, I do it for the money. How else am I gonna buy my car parts =D

Yea Turbo Toyota kit is sexy as hell. I would like to go up against a zpi or greddy or dezod or tt for a friendly race at the track @ the same psi lvl.

The zpi 16g spools up pretty quick. Sounds like a fun race. =D

Small turbo vs Big turbo at the same psi lvl, who wins?

I think the best version of windows was Windows 2000 professional, no fancy looking gui
C R A P, and stable like a MOFFO =)

Now that I think about it, I think my XP runs faster than most, i've disable all the cheesy extra graphics settings, it looks like Windows 2000 right now. I prefer function over form ^^ just like on my car.

well...I thought this was reffering to me, but I guess it couldnt' be, because I cleary said 8psi, not .8bar, so tha would actually be about .55bar where I made 320whp.

I'm currently pushing 252 whp at 5psi (.35bar) and waiting for a better tune to put it back up.
