I dont see any dust anywhere. I didnt bog and i did spin a little bit. Im gonna try the stock wheels and see if that helps. The car weighed at 3077 with me in it.

14.9.. You do realize edmunds got a 15.1 on a stock tC with stock supercharger(Who admittedly did NOT know how to drive the car. In thier article they say It took over a dozen runs for them to get a 15.1)

Sorry guy. but sounds to me like you just can't drive your car.

He can "drive" but he can't "race."

There's not a whole lot you can do to sugarcoat a response to times like that, heh.

hey just a quick thought, check the vac lines going to the BPV and make sure everything is connected at the T fitting...those lines can slip off very easily and its happened to me before a few times.
sidenote: What bypass valve are you using?

I run a consistant 14.3 now, but tonight was another story. Tried a set of 225/40/17 azenis @ 20psi on a set of buddy club wheels and what a mistake that was. I do not have proper damping "stock struts with h-techs" to run such a grippy tire so wheel hop was super nasty, opened the radio door twice haha! Best tonight was a 14.510 @93 when I usually get a 14.3xx @ 95-96mph. I even turned a few ugly 14.8's tonight because of the horrible launches... ah well such is racing. My launches were horrible with those tires and top end sucked bad with them. Best 60' times were in the 2.25 range were I have it down to a 2.16-2.19 with the 18's and falken 512's... odd I know with such a crap tire but that combo works! Also temp was close to 100F tonight on the first run so that did not help anything much either.

Anyways have a boost gauge..? Have a buddy cam the gauge for you and then spray belt dressing on your belt and try again to see if the boost levels change at all. Launching the tc is an art. Took me 2 different race days before I got it down. You will get there. Takes time. Also were you running the car in the pits the whole time..? I see allot of sc guys do that and it heat soaks the sc so freakin bad you have no idea. I let the car cool for about 30 minutes between runs as running back to back to back sucks for the car. The tc would heavily benifit from water injection or a tiny 25-35 shot of nos to cool the intake air down. I think a high 13 is very very possible with the sc, will just take some time.

Hey forgot to add! Finally got to race a pretty much stock tc... not sure what all he had but was a cool kid. Had lots of lights and led stuff done to the car. I think my buddy got the race on video. I bogged it bad out of the hole trying to prevent wheel hop but still managed a crappy 14.8. Was fun to see the difference after I got rolling. It seemed he pulled me about 1/2 car when I bogged out of the hole but the second the engine got back into rpm it was all over quick. Looked to my right and he fell behind me in a hurry and saw headlights in the rearview mirror falling back. Was dissapointed he did not hang around to chat after that. Wanted to bs more about the scions as I have not met another tc owner face to face until tonight! Ah well was fun as hell.

w/o the boost gauge - there are a few ends that are left open that can be directly related to the s/c. I think thats the first step

Who mentioned anything about a trd exhaust? I know the trd exhaust is not doing much. Theres almost no performance difference from the oem to the trd. but thats for the imput.

exactly what rpm are you shifting... The 330 makes it look like your shifting early like at 6000 or 6200...

Push her all the way to redline... with a vortech you make max power almost always at redline. I know it is hard to try to read the tach while driving and the tc is not that loud so it is hard to hear were your at in the powerband but pushing her all the way in each gear is a large key. I bought the trd led shuft light and programmed her perfect to flash at 6350, by the time I react I am right at cut off.

No no no no. It is not in your launch. Your 60 ft time is great. Was it hot out when you raced?

I'd get a boost guage so you can monitor things.

Yeah, sorry man, but that et and trap isn't impressive. Your car must be out of tune. Those are civic Si numbers, except you have a great 60 ft time which is not a good sign for you.

Either you can not drive or something is wrong.

Theres gotta be something wrong with the car. The shifting was perfect and i swear i was stepping on the gas pedal not the brake. lol. Next thing to do is a boost guage. Its gotta be belt slip.
