Default Supercharger Guru

I need some advice from any TRD supercharger Guru's that have installed the TRD supercharger on an 2009 auto TC. I bought the TRD supercharger on Ebay brand new for $500 and now I need the rest of the parts that go with it. Can someone please list the parts and hopefully the part numbers I need to buy.

There you go, there's a lot of parts to buy. Also, the reflash module is about $400.

S/C would be a waste of money in an auto tranny...u r gonna end up with about 150-160whp...turbo would have been a better choice in this case.

did u buy that one on ebay that was jus the sc and shaft itself? u need a lot of other parts for it, oil pan, mounting brackets, pulleys, Reflash module etc.

it was a big waste to even bother with that IMO. ur car is gonna be lucky to dyno 10-25 hp more with that POS. remember stock dynos at 132whp for an auto and 145 for 5spd. but people with the SC on autos were lucky to dyno 150/160 with it.

I'm going to put a 9.5 NST pulley on it and e-management on it. I would of gone turbo but I want to keep the factory warranty.

umm by adding a nst pulley u defeat the purpose of going with the SC for the warranty, anything happens and there immediatly blaming it on that and the managment. so either way ur sh*t out of luck in the warranty department.

and the numbers I estimated btw were with managment and a pulley on an auto. lucky to be anywhere near 160

^ its funny how nobody cares about legality. If you want to start messing around w/ FI and you get a blower/shaft for $500 .... get the other parts and have fun. I had a blast with my car. Learn and there is always another car or another s/c or another turbo you can buy in the future.

TRD sparks, under the supercharger, has a link to all the parts on the right side of that page. Personally i think you should have just bought a used one. Its gonna be a pita and expensive to pick up all of the parts.

^honestly it might not be that bad because people sell parts on the forum a lot. if he is able to relax for the next 4-6 months im sure he will run into a lot of parts. He could even replace the bearings now and really have a nice, new, charger. Since its not installed he isnt pressured into changing them. The one guy from what i was reading has a good deal - pay the flat price, have him install the good bearings, and have him ship it back.

i would go nuts trying to find all the stuff, i would rather just buy a used kit for 900ish like they are going for around here lately.

sorry to say but finding all the parts to the s/c kit is probably going to be impossible. The kit comes with a lot of parts! Consider your warranty denied if you do install the s/c with all of those non oem parts.
