That shouldn't even be a sentence. There's no such thing as a good cheap turbo.

If this is how your going at it, just go to the dealership, get the supercharger and keep your warantee.

Well TRD just released a new lower price for the supercharger. I beileve around 2130. You could also get a ZPI stage 0 for 2200 i beileve... havnt looked at it in a while. But definitly search around here. Make a list of what you want your car to be able to do. Pros/Cons of each and lastly find out how much money you want to spend. Dont forget if you get a turbo your going to need to get a tune, engine managment (depending on turbo setup), injectors... and regardless if you go turbo or supercharger your going to want to get a new clutch and flywheel.

Default Hey bro

A Supercharger is not worth the money, for about 3 grand you will only take bout half a second off your 0-60 and 1/4 mile. But if you go turbo you can achieve much more. The technology has gotten so much better. Go for the ZPI Stage 0 Turbo kit. For around the same price you will have bout 40 more whp. www.zeropointindustries.net

LoL 1/2 a second on your 0-60 and 1/4mile. Right, that's how I ran a 9.19 in the 1/8, that's a full second off 1/8mile time alone giving more than a second off 1/4mile for sure.

If you got the S/C, and spent about $7000 (not including labor) you can get up to about 311whp, like IceNine.

My recommendation, get a Dezod S1 Turbo Kit. With that kit, pressure sensor, and black box (emanage blue or ultimate, ur choice) you can obtain 250+whp on 8psi. Turn up the boost to 10psi, and you'll be close to 290whp. Plus, Dezod has great customer service, you can never go wrong with them!

I can't remember if you said you were on a Stock S/C'er when you ran that 9.19. Was it your constant time, or a one hit wonder? If a one time thing, what were your constant times?

What have you ran in the 1/4 so far?

Ya but isnt a turn around for a stage zero like 6 months... im thinking with the new price drop a supercharger would fit my needs. But I know I will want more. Check out the dezod s1, turbo toyotas stage one, zpi stage 0 or even treadstone. Get some ideas of what you want and wait a couple months and see what happens. If you still have your heart set on that one thing then go for it, wether it be a supercharger or turbo.

No quarter mile runs, only 1/8 low 9's average with 9.19 being my best... and dont ask me to furbish any timeslips I lost them... All I have is the video of my 9.19 @ 77mph. mods at the time were. NST 9.5psi pulley, MMW Header, HKS axle back, and whp at the time was 222.90 and tq at 193.73, don't have a scanner up and running right now so I snaped a pic of the dyno sheet...

This was before and after Brian at Fujita did R&D for a CAI for s/c tCs. The before is with the listed parts above, minus the CAI of couse.
