ok so i currently have a to4e .50 turbo and its making 280 at 12psi with a 2.5 inch exhaust
seeing as the car will be taken off the road pretty soon i plan on going open 3inch downpipe and going bigger turbo..
my goal is around 310-320 hp on 12 psi with....
my turbo options:
T67 with a .82 turbine
or a 60-1 with a .63 turbine
right now im running a .63 turbine and i def feel i could use more topend, my only issue is will i be open to full boost the t67 in the 4k range i dont wannt have full boost anything past 4500

i only get tuned by ptuning and i just want about 320 because im on 550cc and a 255
another reason i dont want to keep my current turbo is because i dont wanna keep running higher boost and that is just inviting heat to be an issue

just me but I would go with a garrett 60-1 with a 63..main reason is cost and availability...60-1 is a dime a dozen so they tend to run cheaper and can be found almost anyplace that sells turbos. However idk if it will give you the 320hp @ 12psi, depends on how effeciant your overall setup is along with many other uncontrollable variables.
You need to toss the 2.5 out the door and get a 3". You do that and you probably see that hp you looking for without even changing turbos.
Are you planning to build the motor and make a ton more power, hence the bigger turbo?

I did a 67mm turbo with a .82 A/R turbine on a TC back in 2008 and man was it laggy. Didn't start spooling til 4K and peak boost was 5500. We made 352whp on 8 PSI on a soft tune before the oil pump failed on the car.
If not for Dual BB I wouldn't be running a .82 A/R (60mm turbo). Unless you have a quick turn around time on building the motor for big boost, there is no benefit to having a huge 67mm turbo on a stock motor. Going to be laggy and slow cause you are not in the turbos efficiency range.
Agree I do(having a Yoda moment) with Crush and Rsmoke go with the 60-1 and get a 3inch exhaust and you should hit your goal but I would get larger injectors.
Ptuning should be able to make that magic happen and if your not already go blo-thru now and safe yourself from the hassle of changing your setup later.
