Default tamper proof sc pulley cap

I don't believe there is a way to remove the tamper proof cap for the trd s/c. I was looking throuht the install guide and wondered about the cap. how do you put it on? well, the manual shows you how.I don't have a s/c but this post is for those who can get an idea (i hope) to remove it. manual says :

preheat trd grey plastic tampr proof cap with a heat gun or equivalent method,in order to make sure the plastic more pliablefor installation. otherwise , plastic may be oo brittle and crack or break during installation. after sufficient pre heat, install trd grey astic tmper proof cap over end of 7 rib drive pulley bolt.

my question is , if you need to use a heat gun to add the cap, why don't you use the same method and remove it?

It makes it Pliable enought to install it, but you will damage it trying to remove it regaurdless.

I've heard the same...that if you heat up the cap and are very careful you can remove it without incident.
