Anyone have any good, measurable data that suggests a benefit in replacing/upgrading the stock bypass valve? Not looking for seat of pants, but something more empirical. Thanks.

Been there, done that. For the requested empirical, data-logged touch points, what terms do you suggest I search for?

 

i think most people here aren't privileged enough to give you the level of accuracy your wanting.
i know i dont have it/


but i will say that i have have read that just about all other applications that use the bpv trd gives with the s/c kit have nixed it for at least the bosche 110.
makes me think that TRD got them all on clearance and are using them here.

 

At red line my AEM boost gauge read 5-5.5 with the oem Bosch unit and it read 7lbs with the Forge 007 (red spring + 1.5mm shim)
