I see it being a pain in the ___ . I guess the 2 turbo factor would be cool. I see tuning issues and would think one large turbo would make more power. Are you going to make them sequential? I kinda skipped around so I'm not sure on the size of the turbos but if there small I would think all you would do is spin the crap out of the tires.

drag radials!!!! standalone!!! and 1 big turbo is not always bigger then 2 turbos.. solved all your problem ideas. lol tuning wont be so hard. as long as the person that tunes it is experience and knows what there doing.

well its not designed to be much more efficient than single turbo, like what todd said its designed for bling factor and a bit faster spool when tuned right

a single turbo is always best for more power, but a twin setup could be awesome for early spool up, and instant boost, however i dont see it being as effective as it could be since we all know fwd cars have enough issues with traction as it is, they will only be breakin the tires loose earlier, lol

Pratical is in the eye of the beholder.

In this particualar situation, I was trying to achieve 2 things.

1. Bad #$*! looking kit. His old setup won every show he ever entered in (3 or 4)

2. The same if not better performance than the 3071R he was running before.

Its not for "top end", but will support 450+whp on a built motor (mild ERL setup coming)

And hopefully will have better low end than we had previous. On paper it should, but reality as we all know it is different. But we will know here soon.

Now with any turbo kit, when the turbos are sized correctly (twins or single) you can achieve a certain goal.

In this case, as someone pointed out.... " better response and overall powerband than a GT3R would get me, and it costs less".


As for those thinking it would be a "pain".

Only difference is 2 drain lines, 2 oil feeds (y adapter), and two intakes.

Otherwise no different than any single kit. Tuning is the same.

with internal wastegate you dont have to buy two external wastegates...there you save about 400-500 bux...lmao
