todd,

i have a couple questions,

1) is this kit going to be mass produced and for sale on the site??

2) If so how much would it run for?? and if it isnt mass produced how much would it cost for someone to get it then?

I know im not todd ( lol) but i may help,

1. he said he can duplicate this manifold, since this is a custom order.. good possibility it will if there is good demand for it.. but the extra price to it, not sure yet as no price has been released

2. todd usually doesnt mass produce, he does tries to make extra parts but it doesnt last on the shelf.. if he starts mass producing and putting kits on stock, that would be great for everyone!!

it might not be that much more than a regular kit. I dont see how it would be. since the turbos are internally gated you save 500 there. add another intake and filter and oil line set up.

but i think the cost of an additional turbo would offset that of the external wg's

Pratical is in the eye of the beholder.

In this particualar situation, I was trying to achieve 2 things.

1. Bad #$*! looking kit. His old setup won every show he ever entered in (3 or 4)

2. The same if not better performance than the 3071R he was running before.

Its not for "top end", but will support 450+whp on a built motor (mild ERL setup coming)

And hopefully will have better low end than we had previous. On paper it should, but reality as we all know it is different. But we will know here soon.

Now with any turbo kit, when the turbos are sized correctly (twins or single) you can achieve a certain goal.

In this case, as someone pointed out.... " better response and overall powerband than a GT3R would get me, and it costs less".

As for those thinking it would be a "pain".

Only difference is 2 drain lines, 2 oil feeds (y adapter), and two intakes.

Otherwise no different than any single kit. Tuning is the same.

Regards-

Todd
i consent to your points todd.

now lets discuss my free clutch i've been asking for, for over a year now! :p

What about a future bi-turbo setup? a small one for low end, and a bigger one for top end?

This a common turbo build for the VW R32's and they get like 750hp...

Then again its a vr6 so the power is easier to acheive, but how sweet would a bi-turbo setup be

Talk about bling factor. You got a lil brother turbo, and a big brother turbo...hehe

a big turbo would be tough to spool with only 2 cylinders supply exhaust.. i think 2 small would be the best we can get on our scion.. but heavy engine build might make it more possible

1. No it will not be offered and on sale through the site.

2. I might do one or two, but I need the car.

A compound setup could be done.....just depends on the goals. It would be HUGE in the bling factor. And done right the powerband would be killer.

8 pt. Chromoly. She's built to spec in the rear. The front needs to be added on too for to pass any tech. The front has what we like to call "girlfriend bars"

Enjoy!
