Scion pplz,

I have a custom turbo kit with whole 9 yards, but now i'm thinking about putting it on my TC. On my previous car, i ran into a huge problem with this turbo.. the car would idle up and down with the wide band sensor moving consisting left and right. another thing is that if i would rev up the engine then let off the gas it would die and restart back up.. i had stock injectors.. but the guy who did the turbo said that he included 1 injector which would inject fuel into the engine when apporiate.. is that the probelm? what seems to be the problem?


also if i were to put this turbo back on and use a Greddy e-Manage option #1 with 440 cc injectors, with harness, and the E-manage. Would this be compatiable with the turbo?

some say the problem is the vaccum leak.. but then another said it was the injectors?

i have the emanage w/ the 440cc inj and DEFINETELY get the pnp harness from dezod for the emanage and it is for my the greddy turbo. i presume it will get the job done, but to avoid the idling problem seems like using a recirculating bov is the way to go.
there r much smarter people on here so im sure they will help u out, but thought id answer in case ur inpatient

 

If it's only at idle, or when dropping down, it could be you need colder plugs.
What car did you take the kitoff of?

you have pics of the turbo or how did you mount it ( MAF ) ?

 

what kind of wideband do you have?

Maybe he only has the whole 8 yards... a few more parts then you'll be good :D

 

 

Yeah well look like I have everything in place.. but i think it is the tuning that is the problem... also i have a AEM WIDE BAND... well any help guys?
