1. my emanage is garbage and i need a replacement or
2. i'll have to get the AEM F/IC which will end up costing me a LOT of money once you factor in the PnP harness for that unit, as well.
great, just great. so i will have bought two PnP harness and two piggybacks for sh*ts and giggles.

btw... hey phil, do you or anyone you know have any decent maps for the AEM unit at .5bar (7.25psi)?

Well, if you got the emanage and harness from dezod, and either are defective, they should set you straight. Maybe even trade up?
but if you do get the F/IC, yeah, I got like 4 different maps. ONE of them should work to at least get you running, but i'd recommend getting it tuned to your setup. But with my base maps, it should only take a tuner an hour.
Damn, if you end up forking out another $750, youd have spent enought to hvae gone full AEM EMS standalone!

well, the car is at the toyota dealership. we tried to start it up on the stock ECU at the shop and now the stock ECU won't even start the car. it threw ignition coil error codes when we hooked it up to a scanner. obviously my toyota warranty is out the door... i just have it at the dealership b/c they'll actually know what to do to fix the ignition if that ends up being the problem (and if not, they'll at least be able to find the problem). this dealership is a good one; not shady or anything. so i'm expecting more costs, but at this point, i just need my car back so there's nothing really i can do. my only concern is that if there is some problem with the emanage or the harness, i don't want to fry the ignition again... i'm thinking it may have screwed something up b/c the jumper settings on the emanage weren't correct when we first hooked it up to the car last week.
my jumper settings werent correct either the first time we tried to start my car and it didnt do anything like that. we tried to trouble shoot the fuel injectors for like 2 hours till we thought to check the jumpers then problem solved! good luck though jax and im sorry about your problems.

gl bro, hope everything works out for ya... I am wanting to see your car in action but I guess I will have to wait like you do... oh and if I were you I would have put the stock injectors back in and then ran it off the ecu back to your house (without hitting boost of course) the first time it wouldn't start... that way you wouldn't have to pay for the time it was in the shop and that way you had it right there for you to try and get the emanage working.... although it may be faulty.... oh well, hopefully this problem doesn't cost you an arm and a leg...
