TurboChargers.com has my Car...Total FAIL! I'm Crush Tuned now FTMFW!
I wouldn't even worry about having a 6-7 psi and 10-11psi tune, Ur not gonna hit high psi daily driving. U might see 2-3 when accelerating normally/medium or passing someone on the highway on a hurry. The only way I hit full boost is past 3450 and only if I'm WOT'ing the car.
Just go for 11's

have it tuned from 6 psi up to where your injector almost maxed out.. some occasional boosting shouldnt hurt.. i hit 8psi on partial throttle at 4th gear at 3K rpms, the more boost more whistle!
Ace, at what rpm do u see full boost? I would like to upgrade turbo next year and want to have a better idea what I'll be looking for. Hopefully price won't be much of a problem, just want to get a bad **** replacement for my TT 2.1 kit. Looking for 3100-3200 full boost and hoping to get around 315whp at 12psi on turbochargers.com mustang dyno. I like the .63 ar I got at the moment, but maybe cuz it's not a top of the line BB turbo I don't get fast spooling like it should.
^^ what turbo do you have? do you have a boost controller? It depends on how high your full boost is and what gear you pull.. 4th gear usually gets me to boost level faster but the rpms rises slowly thats prolly why.. i havent done WOT lately but I have seen 7 psi at 2800 rpms partial throttle and 9 psi at 3100 rpms partial throttle- all in 4th gear.
t3/t04E 57 trim .60 cold .63 hot, I normally reach 10psi after 3500 rpm during 4th gear wot. At partial throttle I don't see that much, 2-3 psi maybe 5-6 if pushing it. When I tried upping the boost to 12psi before the clutch went bye bye, it took over 4k to see full boost. I'll check again once I'm done with the clutch break-in.
I do have a MBC which has helped with the spool up a bit, I didn't used to see full 7psi (8.7psi spring) of boost until like 3800 rpm. BTW, that's some fast spool up compared to mine damn it lol

carlos i would think you would spool much faster than that...oops never mind i just checked one of your old logs...your not lying, you reach full boost at 3536rpm...with a bit of boost creep.
now after I routed the vacuum lines the boost is pretty linear without boost creep, but takes a lil longer than before. Maybe cuz is more boost? I don't know, cuz it used to creep more than my max boost right now.

lol if its not ONE thing its another... first it was the whole too low issue... car is raised on the dyno! yes!.... start dyno'ing it... WG had a 10psi spring in it that my car just did not like.. so today my 8psi spring will arrive and hopefully my car will get tuned and done by the end of today.
this is the only video i caught of her FINALLY being alive again! not the best but working the kinks out

hmmmmm.....what turbo again?....10psi seems a bit soon to be running out of fuel on 550cc injectors. then again i was running into high injector duty cycles at 11psi.
fuel pump may help out with the flow and keep that pressure up (stock pressure).
