TurboChargers.com has my Car...Total FAIL! I'm Crush Tuned now FTMFW!
I assume they plugged the 02 sensor connector in first then tried to thread it, so the wires twisted and strained. not sure exactly how the wires got chaffed like that but just goes to show they weren't gentle about it all.
Taking my tC to turbochargers.com for a turbo has been a pain in the ___ so far. If I move the wiring harness connected to the AEM, it begins to shake or even turn off. There's been a couple of times where I've been driving, hit a bump, and the car shuts off.....
I'm taking it back this week.
i'd highly highly suggest you dont take it back and get your money back. take it to chris "crush" i'm sure he'd be glad to help you and will solve all your problems. just like he did with mine
stay away from turbochargers!!!!!

sounds to me like either loose batt connection or harness is damaged. Ill be happy to take a look at it. If its something easy like a loose batt connection or loose harness connection i wouldnt charge ya but if its harness damage ill have to charge 20-50 for repair. just depends on how much damage.
Sounds to me like they didn't want to spend the extra to get a PnP harness and tried to splice directly into the factory wiring from the generic AEM harness. Completely non-professional if that is the case, especially since Boomslang makes them for $300 so if you pull the turbo the factory wiring is still stock. Crush, you're crazy to offer a harness repair that cheap, Toyota doesn't label their wires and repeats color codes. Doubt you could get them to do it, but if the factory harness was botched they could be on the hook to get a replacement harness, but that's big $$ for it and a pain to re-install.
FYI, I had the same issue with my Greddy kit on the 1gen xB. The PnP harness was for an 04-05, I tried to resplice it and moved 18 wires to get it to work with the 06, but it woould cut out on occasion. Ended up ordering the Boomslang because Greddy doesn't make one for the 06 and now have no issues.
