What are the plugs gapped at? I am sure that the unichip/turbonetics tune is very conservative thus leaving driveability issues in the name of safety. Get a vehicle specific tune would be a good start for more power and better driveability.

Not sure if this is supposed to be an insult to their tuning or not but I think if you survey all the Turbonetics owners who installed and run the kit with out of box tuning I think you'll find everyone agrees driveability is flawless. The issue lies somewhere outside the tune you so aptly blamed. My vote is to check plug gapping and for boost/vacuum leaks..

Whooaa...I thought he was just being helpful. Some one is a little testy!
Yeah sorry, bad day at work and its only 9:45 AM here. If it was a "helpful" post them let me apologize for my reply...

Check plug gaps and conditions, coil pack conditions.....

Are the misfires only in boost?

^^From what I gathered, I think it was to articulate that a tC in Sunny Cali using the same default map as a tC in Cold A$$ Michigan or somewhere else with a drastic change in weather are not going to respond the same. Unless TN monitors where orders are being shipped to, and then adjust the tunes on the Unichip according to that persons climate conditions, I don't think there is a way around that.

I could be wrong, just trying to learn more and more each day.

No you are correct the tune would be different.. however not to the point where it would cause driveability issues.
