Default ultimate hardwire

How many of yall have wired the ultimate using the regular harness not the pnp harness? And how difficult was it. I figure if you have a diagram of the stock ecu wireing it would be more time consuming than difficult.

I know. The shop said about 5-hours which is $400 just for the wireing. I think if I got a diagram of the ecu I could do it. I would just have to take my time.

The harness was 100 so if I sent it back and got a plug n play one it would cost another 280+-.

the info with the emanage ultamate says to wire the ignition ch1 to t1, ch2 to t4, ch3 to t2, ch 4 to t3 or something like that . I did it like it said but I think I should just wire 1 to 1 , 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4. Just wondering how you did it . my car does not work the way it is so something is wrong. any help would be appreciated

i feel like it was ch1 to t1 ch2 to t3 ch3 to t4 and ch4 to t2 ... but i dont remember.... make sure your inputs and outputs are goign the rightway inother words output going to the car and input coming from the ecu.

well I ended up getting a pnp harness and it works fine. I hated spending the extra money but the benifits were better.

Also when I got mine the only pin I had to change was jumper 8. the rest were set. If you didn't do that, thats probally the problem. It comes stock witha 5v you chang it to 12v.

congrats man. Get a tuner to adjust the maps. You don't want to make a mistake. The only thing that I changed by myself was setting the 2az-fe thing and removing the top speed limmiter. I did this before I logged some runs.

what is the 2az-fe . I tapped into the preed sigal so I should be able to remove he speed limiter easily. I also plan on changing the injector size to 550 . did you notice a strong smell after install ?? I imagine it is from inproper fuel. I got the dezod base map and am going to run off that. I plan on driving to NY this weekend 380 miles each way . I hope this does not do anything negative. I guess only time will tell
