Im getting tuned wensday and need a little help with my emanage ultimate reading knock. to read knock is it just a settings change or do you have to set both jumper 13 and 14 to open?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

The tuner guy should know, if hes tuning your car, and if the tuner guy doesnt that means he is not an experience tuner hes still a rookie still learning...

 

my tuner is a great tuner. He is just not familliar with the emanage ultimate. He usally works on gm cars. corvetts, t/a's, vipers. im trying to set it up so when i go to get the tune all he has to do is tune, not other stuff.

 

true, but tune at your own risk , i would recommend someone that has exp. with greddy emanage in case something goes wrong alot of people i know ran into those problems alot.

bringing this thread back to life thanks to the one from the AEM FIC reading knock..anyone able to answer this?

 

no.....all i can come up with is our knock sensor is non-resonant and around 7.5hz.....not sure though.

If your tuner is experienced, he will have a knock detection device, so no need to hook up the emanage to record knock
