Your trying to tell me that you dont like that...
uh yea bro i dont. why ruin a perfectly good mugen bumper for the sake of "it looks cool"... all your doing there is dumping crazy smoke and carbon possibly on the side of your car/wheels/ or other people etc... yea it maybe "cute" for shows... but it doesnt mean its the right way or most effective way... you'll be dumping also more noise onto yourside that way also.. if you keep it under and atleast in the area of the engine bay it would be so horrible of an annoyance. been there done that man.. dont confuse me for alot of the noobs on here. ....yes the car is nice but i dont agree with ruining a mugen bumper for pure cosmetic when its alot easier to dump down like everyone normally does and has no issues... plus not to mention as toyotaracer9 said.. the engine will rock back and forth and running the risk of even more damage to your bumper/down pipe welds/ wastegate flanges etc etc.. its probably less of a head ache to run it downwards. but hey if you wana clean carbon off your car all day thats fine with me ... if you really wanted to be smart about it you can run the dump under the car as a second exhuast system and dump way in the back as a hidden 2nd exhuast pipe. or you can run a long pipe along side the exhuast and just have it curve downwards in the middle of the car or closer to the firewall or just after it.. from there its just adding some sound deadning material to keep the heat down and also some heat foil on the body of the car to prevent from the outlet area from heating the metal around the outlet. been doing stuff like this for years man lol... dont get it twisted.

i will be more then happy to draw up previous diagrams and routing points that i have used on my previous turbo cars or my friends...tc or not.

thats fine.. its your car.. lol..but your not the original thread starter so what ever floats your boat is fine...but he should hear as many dif. arguments and possible options as possible before he starts cutting up a fender or bumper for aesthetic reasons only.

With all that said on where to put the tube, did anyone check the law for their state? hmmm??? Could be illegal in some states to have a street legal car dump exhaust fumes before the driver/passenger doors of the vehicle, because technically it's toxic. Not that I'm a big fan of rules, I just dont want to see any tC's in the impound lot.

Hacking the bumper to blow waste-gate gases through would be like yelling...Hey Officer please impound my car! I've got no cat converters... and you'll be brodcasting to the world there is a 50 state illegal turbo system tucked under the hood. Did I mention it's also loud and abnoxious? If anything please give me a ticket for noise pollution...That way you'll have something to complain about on the SL forums.

Heck before doing this super mod, stick a ZPI sticker on the bumper and then starts complaining about how the ZPI sticker got your car impounded -That's a sure way of getting some attention around here

LoL.. I get your point... it was just an idea... most likely the dump tube will be ported underneath the car as normal... Oh yeah.. I think I'll use the ZPI stickers as a "muffler" on the pipe lol... No ZPI parts on this car, k thanks I don't want to start a riot lol
